Because it is never too much to review about the risks of our personal information and online activities spread over the internet without thinking of privacy concerns and data processing for who knows what purpose, here two interesting articles aimed (on this case) at Google company:
- One from its chairman: «Eric Schmidt warned be careful with personal data on the internet» where he warns that «young people may someday have to change their names to cover their online activities in the past» and notices that will «soon launch a new social networking site. Some observers even say the name of the site according to the issue is: Google.me»
- Another one called «Google Agonizes on Privacy as Ad World Vaults Ahead», article based on «soul-searching over a basic question: How far should it go in profiting from its crown jewels—the vast trove of data it possesses about people's activities?» . And with useful privacy guides such as «How to Protect Yourself . Almost every major website you visit is tracking your online activity.»
